Cross country

Cross Country It’s cross country training time. This is a time where we run a circuit around our school as part of our P.E. learning. Cross        country is in week six. The training we do is beep tests, yoga and small running circuits. We have been training for three weeks. We have been practicing our technique with Edie and have learnt how to run up hills by using small steps and using quiet steps to run normally. Cross Country is hard, but we will try our best. Cross country is fun but not for everyone. Lochlan and I are aiming for top fifteen or ten or even top eight so we can go to interschools.

Reflection / Tree weaving

I’ve been a tree weaving. It looks easy to make but it takes weeks and days or even hours. I have not finished mine yet but i’m nearly done. The part that i’m struggling on are the leaves. We have to weave it in a pattern this is my progress.

Reflection / Clay face

I have been doing clay faces. I tried to make it look like a guy who looked creepy but it looked like a drama guy. I added some red lines and dots to make it look too creepy. It looked so creepy I felt like having nightmares. Next time I do clay faces I will make the bottom and side of the mouth thicker.

Blindfold

Blindfold I put my blindfold on and I saw nothing but a shining light at the bottom of my eyes. Jan came up to me and put my blindfold on properly, or that would be cheating well kinda . I took a ton of steps, I was trusting Mahdi. I felt nervous and scared that I would crash head first on the wall but, I didn’t. Mahdi said, “We are passing grass right now.” That made me quite confident but not enough to make me walk by myself. I heard Mahdi say “Go...Right! Now go...Left!!” a lot of times I was getting confused. Then Mahdi said “Take it off!!” I took them out of my face and on my hand and I was there. Well I was there kinda but I just didn’t go on the deck. Then it was Mahdi’s turn.
